We are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to work as part of the team, maintaining good working relationships with patients, relatives, and members of the multi-disciplinary team. To deal with enquiries from patients, visitors, and staff, as directed by qualified staff, in accordance with department practices, ensuring that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

To pay attention to patients' individual needs. Under the direction of a qualified nurse, attend to patients' personal hygiene needs and ensure all patients receive the standard of care as per care plan. Assist in bathing patients and attending to hygiene needs, reporting any variations in skin condition to the qualified nurse. Carry out, under supervision, eye/mouth/skin and hair care treatments. Obtain specimens such as urine and blood under the direction of a qualified nurse. Sit with and support patients during minor treatments. Assist nursing staff in patient positioning and exercises, ensuring proper moving and handling techniques are followed. Have an understanding of asepsis, undertake clinical observations such as temperatures, pulse, respirations, peak flow measurements, and blood pressure recordings.
