An established industry player is seeking exceptional Health Care Assistants to join their Brent Community Nursing Day Service. We are looking for exceptional Band 3 Health Care Assistants who are looking to progress to Apprenticeship Nursing Associate or a qualified Band 4 Apprentice Nursing Associate to join us in our Brent Community Nursing Day Service. The service is run from 8.30am to 5.00pm including weekends. You will be working in one of the Brent District Nursing teams. This is a fixed post position with the possibility of the post becoming permanent in Brent at the end of this contract.
You should hold NVQ level 3 in health and social care and have a minimum of 12 months acute or community experience. If you are a motivated team player and want to excel in delivering exceptional holistic healthcare to a diverse patient group in their own home, we want to hear from you.
Previous experience of working in the NHS is essential, community experience is desirable but training will be given. Car driving is not required as we walk to visit our patients.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be directly involved in facilitating and shaping self-care for patients with long term conditions in order to help keep them as well as possible in their own homes.

The Healthcare Assistant will provide a mixture of general and specific care to a group of patients under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or allied health professional. The HCA will work in a variety of settings including community centres, clinics, and patient/carers' own homes.
The post holder will be expected to become proficient and competent in their area of practice by undertaking competency assessments specific to the area of clinical practice.
The HCA will promote optimum independence and individualised client-centred care to a delegated caseload.
The post holder will also support the Community Nursing Team to deliver against key performance indicators and maintain the quality of the service.
