FCMS in Blackpool is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Clinical team at Newfield House in Blackpool, Lancashire. The role operates on a bank contract, based at the Blackpool site, with a pay rate of £13.26 per hour.

You will support clinical assessments, wound care, ECGs, observations and venepuncture while promoting health and wellbeing and working with partner agencies to improve patient outcomes.

Main duties of the role

Support the delivery of healthcare services to vulnerable and complex patient groups, working alongside clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred care. Maintain accurate patient records, contribute to achieving service targets and QOF requirements, and ensure care is delivered in line with local and national guidelines. The postholder will manage their workload effectively, adhere to safeguarding, infection control and risk management procedures, and demonstrate compassionate, professional and non-judgemental care at all times
