Healthcare Assistant Hereford Hospital is a full-time, permanent role at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital, with weekend working and a salary up to £25,800 per annum depending on experience. You will join a 20-bed inpatient ward, Day Surgery Unit and Admissions & Clinical Unit, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.

• Assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology and Physiotherapy.

• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities.
• Make sure the day-to-day operations of our various clinics run smoothly.
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.
• Carry out pre-assessment, both face-to-face and over the phone.

Our Ward team cares for patients undergoing a wide range of elective surgical procedures across specialties including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Plastics and Vascular Surgery. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Ward team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our 20-bed inpatient ward, Day Surgery Unit and Admissions & Clinical Unit, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.
