Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Guildford PET-CT team.

You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment, dealing with patients.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant should have experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment.

The candidate should have experience in a healthcare environment, as they will be required to provide administration support, patient support, including chaperoning patients and assisting Radiographers during scans. They will also handle admin duties related to the patient pathway, following standard guidelines. Good communication skills (both written and verbal), IT skills, and an understanding of radiation protection protocols are essential. Excellent patient care skills are a must.

Attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and enthusiasm are key qualities for this role.

You should be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines and turnaround times.
