Phyllis Tuckwell is looking for dynamic and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our team on the In-Patient Unit at the Hospice. As we are currently in the process of building a new Hospice on our existing site in Farnham, our In-Patient Unit (IPU) - and this role will be based on a temporary basis at Kings Lodge Care Home in Camberley. We are aiming to move into our new Hospice within 12months, at which point our IPU - and this role will relocate from Kings Lodge in Camberley to the new Hospice in Farnham. The Hospice Care at Home teams are based in Farnham and Guildford.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant who is looking for a rewarding role where they are able to provide high quality patient & family focused care within a supportive environment. Successful candidates will have previous experience in a caring role, has/will undertake a level 2 related care qualification, and will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Whilst palliative care experience is valuable, it is not essential, as full training and support will be given.
