We are looking for Healthcare support worker to work as part of the team, maintaining good working relationships with patients, relatives and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
To deal with enquiries from patients, visitors and staff, as directed by qualified staff, in accordance with department practices, ensuring that patient confidentially is maintained at all times.

To deal with enquiries from patients, visitors and staff, as directed by qualified staff, in accordance with department practices, ensuring that patient confidentially is maintained at all times.
To ensure that attention is paid to patients’ individual needs.
To ensure under the direction of a qualified nurse that patients personal hygiene needs are attended to and that all patients receive the desired standard of care as per care plan.
To assist in bathing patients and attending to hygiene needs, reporting any variation in skin condition to the qualified nurse.
To carry out under supervision eye/ mouth/ skin and hair care treatment.
Under the direction of a qualified nurse, obtain specimens e.g. urine, and blood.
To sit with and support patients during minor treatments.
Assist the and nursing staff in patient positioning and exercises ensuring the patient is moved and lifted in accordance with current moving and handling techniques.
To have an understanding with regard to asepsis, undertake clinical observations e.g. temperatures, pulse, respirations, peak flow measurements and blood pressure recordings.
