Job Description:

We’re looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Endoscopy team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

Situated in London's renowned medical district, The Princess Grace Hospital is a well-equipped private hospital with 127 beds, including inpatient, outpatient, endoscopy, and high dependency units. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering excellent clinical care across various specialties.

The role involves providing skilled clinical assistance, participating in patient care assessment, and supporting manual handling, cleaning, waste disposal, and ward maintenance.

Duties include:

  • Assisting in patient care to ensure comfort and safety, respecting cultural and religious beliefs
  • Reporting issues to nurses and acting as a patient advocate
  • Preparing dressings and assisting with procedures under supervision
  • Supporting nursing and medical staff with various procedures

Qualifications include NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable), experience as a Healthcare Assistant, and experience in Endoscopy (advantage). Good communication skills in English are essential.
