Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.

Team and Working Hours

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. The role involves working 40 hours per week.

Candidate Requirements

The successful applicant should have experience in a clinical or healthcare setting. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, along with IT and administrative skills, are essential. The role requires a commitment to patient support, including chaperoning and assisting Radiographers during scans, and administrative duties related to the patient pathway. Understanding and adherence to radiation protection protocols are necessary. Excellent patient care skills, attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and a positive attitude are key qualities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting in patient preparation and positioning on the scanner
2. Chaperoning and cannulation
3. Supporting Radiographers during scans
4. Managing clinical stock and conducting clinical audits
5. Processing patients via E-Systems and making telephone bookings
