Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (Nursing and Residential Homes)

OneCall24 is a leading healthcare staffing provider, supplying qualified medical professionals to the NHS and private sector for permanent, contract, and temporary roles, specializing in nursing and residential care across the UK, offering 24-hour services.

We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants in Hertfordshire for private nursing and residential homes to cover ongoing shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

  • Washing and dressing patients
  • Communicating with residents, relatives, and staff
  • Serving meals and assisting with feeding
  • Moving and positioning patients

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of Healthcare Assistant experience in the UK within the last 2 years
  • Experience using a hoist
  • Valid DBS check
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Driver’s license and own car (preferred)
  • Manual handling certificate (preferred)
