Healthcare Assistant

Location: The Dermatology Partnership (Everything Skin – Cheadle)

Salary: From £25,396pa (increasing with relevant skills/experience)

Type: Permanent & Full Time (40hrs)

Your Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support treatments, assist with clinical procedures, and provide aftercare. Your duties include setting up sterile fields, managing stock and equipment, infection prevention, and ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.

You will also create a supportive environment for patients, assisting during consultations and promoting high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support dermatologists with consultations and surgical procedures (MOHS, excisions, biopsies, shaves)
• Venesection
• Wound checks, dressing changes, stitch removal
• Maintain infection control standards
• Daily clinic checks
• Manage stock levels
• Ensure clinical audits and compliance with policies

Required Skills & Qualifications
