Job summary

Nurses UK in the South West of England is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our compassionate care team and support delivery of outstanding healthcare services.

We offer both full-time and part-time day and night shifts. Compensation starts at £13.68–£17.18 per hour with time and a half on bank holidays, weekly pay, mileage where applicable, and ongoing free training and revalidation support to help you progress.

Qualifications

• UK Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker experience preferred.
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete relevant training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care to patients.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in patient-centred care.

Pay: £13.68-£17.18 per hour plus time and a half on Bank Holidays.

Main Responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK (preferred).
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete relevant training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to high standards of care and professional practice.
• Right to work in the UK.
