Job summary

Nurses UK is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our dedicated care team across the South West of England. You will work with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Pay is £13.68–£17.18 per hour, with time and a half on Bank Holidays. We offer flexible day/night shifts, weekly pay, mileage allowances, and training opportunities.

Applicants should have UK work rights; Care Certificate or willingness to complete training; and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care to patients/service users.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to senior staff.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient-centred care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
• Accurately document care provided in line with service requirements.
• Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: £13.68-£17.18 per hour plus time and a half on Bank Holidays.
