Job summary

Nurses UK is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our care team across the South West of England. Competitive hourly pay starting at £13.68 rising to £17.18, plus time and a half on Bank Holidays.

We offer full- and part-time day and night shifts in a supportive, professional environment. As an HCA, you will support patients with personal care, daily living activities, and documentation, while working alongside nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure dignified,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated compassion and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care to patients/service users.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to senior staff.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient-centred care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
• Accurately document care provided in line with service requirements.
• Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
