Job summary

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a flexible Healthcare Assistant for the Outpatients department in a part-time role (25 hours per week) with weekend work. You will support the clinics across Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, and more, assisting consultants and nurses with dressings and wound care to ensure smooth patient care.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant hospital or care setting experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

Responsibilities

• As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients, assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy
• Help manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities to keep clinics running smoothly
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures such as dressings and wound care
• Support day-to-day operations and provide patient-centred care
