Job summary

Lewisham Council invites applications for a Health & Work Coach to support individuals in Lewisham with employability and wellbeing. The role is based at SE6 4RU, Will Be Leemore Centre and surrounding GP practices, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office.

The successful candidate will assess employability and wellbeing, create personalised action plans, provide referrals, offer health guidance, and help with CVs and job search.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of effective partnership working with individuals and organizations to deliver relevant high-quality local provision.
• Experience using IT systems such as CRM, Teams, SharePoint and Oracle to support delivery of projects.
• Knowledge of stakeholders in health, wellbeing, employment and training in Lewisham, including internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Assessing a person’s employability and wellbeing, using tools like EQ5DL.
• Creating personalised action plans with participants.
• Providing referrals and signposting to other support services.
• Providing health and wellbeing advice.
• Providing career guidance.
• Offering employment advice (CVs, job search, interview techniques).
• Helping participants identify workplace adjustments to support health needs.
• Carrying out health and wellbeing assessments.
