Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Health & Wellbeing coach for the WorkWell programme in Lewisham. You will deliver personalised coaching to residents, conducting sessions in person, online or by phone to improve employability and wellbeing.

The role is a 6-month contract with a local authority, paying £29.85 per hour via umbrella arrangement. Applicants with health coaching backgrounds are highly desirable, and DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in employing, careers, welfare, wellbeing or health-related advice and guidance.
• Proven track record supporting individuals with barriers to employment.
• Experience managing a caseload and delivering outcome-focused support.
• Proficiency in completing assessments and creating action plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one health, wellbeing and employability coaching for WorkWell participants.
• Conduct in-person, online and phone appointments.
• Assess needs using recognised tools (e.g., EQ5D-L) and develop action plans.
• Provide guidance on health, wellbeing and employability, including CVs and job search strategies.
• Identify reasonable workplace adjustments to support health conditions.
