Health Officer
Job Purpose

The Health Officer will work alongside and report directly to the Health Lead, providing practical support with the development, coordination and delivery of health and wellbeing programmes.

This is a varied support role, combining programme delivery, administration, participant support and programme development.

The postholder will support the Health Lead to deliver the organisation’s health and wellbeing offer, whilst taking responsibility for delivering agreed sessions and activities. They will contribute to the development of new programmes and resources, helping to ensure that activities are engaging, accessible and responsive to the needs of participants.

The role will suit someone who is confident working with people, enjoys delivering both physical activity and mental health and wellbeing sessions, and is able to move comfortably between practical delivery and administrative or programme development tasks.

Hours and Flexibility

The post is 16 hours per week. The specific working pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate as the role becomes established and programme delivery requirements become clearer.
