We are recruiting an enthusiastic Health Visitor to lead, deliver, and influence a comprehensive Health Visiting service in Wandsworth, aligning with the local service specifications to meet the public health needs of the borough's communities.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of 'Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018)', focusing on improving health and life chances for children and families, and safeguarding those at risk.
Please note that while the base is stated as Roehampton, it is subject to change to one of three sites (Battersea, Wandsworth, or Roehampton), depending on staffing and service needs at the time of recruitment.
From April 2023, a Recruitment Premium has been introduced to attract and retain qualified Health Visitors within CLCH’s Health Visiting Teams.
This post offers a premium of £2,500 payable upon commencement of employment (T&Cs apply) for registered Band 6 Health Visitors.
The role involves planning, organizing, and evaluating an innovative health visiting service in line with the Healthy Child Programme, delegating to team members as appropriate to ensure high-quality service delivery.
It requires providing a skilled, effective, evidence-based health visiting service in community settings, collaborating with other healthcare and service providers for seamless service delivery, and working with colleagues to meet the objectives of the Quality Strategy.
