Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Community Nursery Nurse to support the West Berkshire health visiting team. You will help care for children aged 0-5 and work within a multidisciplinary team to promote health and wellbeing in the community.

The role requires a driver with access to a car, and a commitment to safeguarding, record-keeping and continuing professional development.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication is essential.
• Car driver with access to a car is required.
• NNEB or equivalent with an interest in public health is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to families in community settings under the health visitor.
• Plan and deliver health promoting activities for children and families.
• Support breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships following UNICEF Baby Friendly standards.
• Liaise with Children Centres and Early Years settings to promote health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records of care and participate in supervision.
