Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a dynamic Health Visitor or School Nurse to lead the Kincardine and Mearns Health Visiting and School Nursing team, shaping and supporting high‑quality, family‑centred care across the locality.

The post requires strong clinical leadership, staff development, and delivery of the Health Visiting Action Plan 2025–2035 and School Nursing pathways, with a commitment to trauma‑informed, child‑centred care. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Health Visiting/Public Health qualification.
• Experience leading a team in community/public health settings.
• Postgraduate study or working towards a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership and operational oversight.
• Support staff development and service improvement.
• Implement the Health Visiting Action Plan 2025–2035 and the 10 Priority Pathways for School Nursing.
• Promote integrated, trauma-informed, and child-centred care.
