Job Title: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Statistician

Location:Home based/remote

Employment Type:Contract

Hourly Rate: Dependant on Experience

Company Overview:

A leading consultancy are looking are for an experienced HTA Statistician to support the evaluation of healthcare technologies.

Role Overview:

As an HTA Statistician, you will provide statistical analysis to assess the effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness of healthcare technologies. You will work closely with health economists, clinicians, and other experts to prepare HTA submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct statistical analyses of clinical and real-world data for HTA submissions.
  • Support the development of economic models, including Markov models and decision trees.
  • Prepare statistical reports and submissions for HTA agencies (e.g., NICE, SMC).
  • Provide statistical advice to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Review clinical and economic literature to inform submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in HTA, clinical trials, or medical statistics.
  • Proficient in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, STATA).
  • Experience with HTA agencies (e.g., NICE) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
