Job Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a statistical department resource, mentor biostatisticians, and develop training materials. Conduct training sessions and support skill development.
  2. Oversee activities of biostatistics personnel on projects, ensuring high-quality, timely work. Provide independent review of project outputs.
  3. Support all statistical tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from protocol to CSR.
  4. Prepare or oversee Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), including mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures. Collaborate with sponsors as needed.
  5. Lead as Biostatistician for protocol aspects, randomization schedules, and input to clinical study reports.
  6. Create or review programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  7. Review CRFs, database design, and documentation to ensure protocol compliance and data quality.
  8. Implement company objectives and develop solutions for business challenges.
  9. Represent biostatistics on project teams, interfacing with other departments.
  10. Prepare for meetings, contribute ideas, and respect others' opinions.
  11. Verify and quality control project deliverables, ensuring they meet standards and specifications.
  12. Manage multiple projects, set goals, and communicate timelines and challenges proactively.
  13. Monitor progress against milestones and escalate issues as needed.
  14. Provide statistical programming support as required.
  15. Participate in DSMB/DMC activities, possibly serving as a voting statistician.
  16. Follow SOPs, WIs, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
  17. Maintain organized project documentation and verification files.
  18. Collaborate with others and support business development activities.
  19. Perform additional duties as assigned; minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Graduate degree in biostatistics or related field.
  • Extensive experience in clinical trials, capable of leading multiple studies.
  • Proficiency in programming.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical design, analysis, regulatory guidelines, and programming techniques.
  • Experience supporting all statistical tasks in clinical trials lifecycle.
  • Regulatory submission experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
