Job summary

Manchester Airport Group (MAG) is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager (Property) to shape health, safety and fire compliance across its commercial property portfolio. You’ll manage all aspects of HS&F legislation for buildings in Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted, developing and maintaining management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of H&S legislation and fire safety requirements.
• Experience in risk assessments, inspections and audit activities across multiple sites.
• Ability to communicate recommendations to stakeholders and operational teams.
• Chartered membership of IOSH or equivalent; intermediate Fire Risk Assessor status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor HS&F management systems across MAG's Property portfolio.
• Coordinate regular HS&F inspections, risk assessments, fire drills and legionella/asbestos reviews.
• Prepare action plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and MAG standards.
• Lead internal and external HS&F audits; support GAP analysis and governance improvements.
