Job Description:

A unique opportunity to join a highly rated food manufacturing business in their journey of growth as their Health & Safety Manager based in East London.

As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the SHE agenda for this growing food manufacturing business.

You will provide advice and guidance to the business on Health, Safety, and Environment and develop a SHE strategy in line with the business strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in establishing the H&S culture within the workplace. You will lead H&S performance improvements at this site in East London and ensure the Site’s Health, Safety, and Environment policies and systems are managed effectively to support adherence to relevant legislation and internal standards.

As Health & Safety Manager, you will monitor and embed site management processes, including investigating all lost time incidents and managing the incident recording system to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal professional will have:

• Previous experience in health and safety management and training in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• NEBOSH Diploma
• Excellent report writing skills to document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
