Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join the Southwest project team. You will lead site safety across Bristol, Wiltshire and Somerset, promoting best practice and ensuring HSE compliance across multiple high-value schemes.

The role requires knowledge of ISO 45001/14001/9001, NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 45001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 9001 standards.
• NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications.
• Experience in a similar role on high-value schemes (£10M–£100M).

Responsibilities

• Oversee site safety across project teams and promote best practice.

Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Fawkes & Reece are currently supporting an industry leading Tier 1 Contractor with their search for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join their project team based in the Southwest.

This Health, Safety & Environmental Manager will work across a variety of sectors, typically on projects valuing between £10M - £100M across Bristol, Wiltshire & Somerset.

About the role of Health.

Safety & Environmental Manager As Health, Safety & Environmental Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the safety of project teams across the site, promoting best practice and driving H&S legislation throughout whilst pushing for continuous improvement surrounding HSE. Responsibilities for the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, Client expectations company standards.

Support the planning & delivery team with high-risk activities.

Regularly carry out safety inspections & audits Appropriately support and advise any incidents, accidents or near misses Proactively promote and engage the team with HSE awareness & behavioural improvement Requirements for Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Previous experience in a similar role working on similar value schemes would be advantages, for this opportunity we would consider a HSE Advisor looking to step up.
