Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Bristol are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee site safety across multiple projects on a Tier 1 contractor’s team. The role emphasises promoting best practice and driving H&S compliance on schemes valued between £100M and £300M in the Bristol region.

You will work to ISO 45001/14001/9001 standards, support planning and delivery with high-risk activities, and lead inspections and investigations into incidents, implementing behavioural improvements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role on high-value schemes is desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, client expectations company standards.
• Support the planning & delivery team with high-risk activities.
• Regularly carry out safety inspections & audits
• Appropriately support and advise any incidents, accidents or near misses
• Proactively promote and engage the team with Health & Safety awareness & behavioural improvement

Fawkes & Reece are currently supporting an industry leading Tier 1 Contractor with their search for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their project team based in Bristol. This Health & Safety Manager will work across a variety of sectors, typically on projects valuing between £100M - £300M across the region.

About the role of Health & Safety Manager

As Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the safety of project teams across the site, promoting best practice and driving H&S legislation throughout whilst pushing for continuous improvement surrounding Health & Safety.
