Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead across roofing, cladding and construction operations from our Milton Keynes base with nationwide site travel. You will shape safety standards, drive performance and partner with senior leadership, site teams and clients.

In this role you will develop policies, conduct audits, investigations and training, and deliver proactive safety improvements across a diversified portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Health and Safety Manager or similar.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence teams at all levels.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience within roofing, cladding, facades or wider construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and compliance strategy across roofing, cladding and construction operations
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple companies
• Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions
• Develop and review policies, procedures and risk management systems
• Provide guidance to managers, site teams and subcontractors
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives
• Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and client requirements
• Produce reports, analyse trends and present recommendations
• Support the development of a positive, proactive safety culture

The businesses deliver roofing, cladding, facades and wider construction schemes across multiple sectors, offering genuine variety and exposure to different project types.

This role suits a proactive health and safety professional who enjoys influencing best practice, shaping standards and working closely with senior leadership, site teams and clients. You'll play a key part in strengthening safety performance and driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

About You – Essential
