Job summary

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead safety strategy across roofing, cladding and construction operations from Milton Keynes with nationwide site travel.

You will conduct audits, develop policies, deliver training and drive continuous improvement across multiple companies, reporting to senior leadership and engaging with site teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, HSQE Manager or similar.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence teams at all levels.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and compliance strategy across roofing, cladding and construction operations.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple companies.
• Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and review policies, procedures and risk management systems.
• Provide guidance to managers, site teams and subcontractors.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and client requirements.
• Produce reports, analyse trends and present recommendations.
• Support the development of a positive, proactive safety culture.
