Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee day-to-day compliance and secure smooth operation across the club. You will act as Duty Manager, lead a team and coordinate contractors to keep facilities safe and compliant.

You'll apply IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent qualification, manage maintenance, and drive a customer‑centric safety culture within a service-led leisure environment.

Qualifications

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification.
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations.
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Passionate about customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager to ensure smooth club operation.
• Ensure day-to-day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to.
• Lead a team and train/coordinate contractors as needed.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
• Foster a service‑led, customer‑centric safety culture.
