Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join Europe’s leading premium health and wellness group. You will act as Duty Manager, ensure daily health, safety and compliance across the club, and lead a team including self-employed contractors.

You will drive regulatory compliance, deliver training, and embed a culture of safety and service excellence for members and staff. This role requires strong knowledge of H&S legislation and experience in facilities management; you will

Qualifications

• IOSH or NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification required.
• Facilities Management qualification (HND, Diploma) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety within the club ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
• Manage a team including self-employed contractors and act as Duty Manager.
• Deliver training and development in line with company expectations.

About you :

As Health and Safety Manager , we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification

• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)

• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations

• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.

• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility\"(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)\"

• Passionate about customer service.
