Job summary

ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group, is hiring a Health and Safety Manager in Glasgow to lead strategy, policy and compliance across the business. This role drives a zero-harm culture, partners with executives, and guides a team of Health and Safety Consultants.

You’ll report to the Health & Safety Director, develop data insights, and deliver improvements across the value chain in renewables. Competitive package and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or comparable experience.
• NEBOSH General Certificate level or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001/45003 and international safety standards.
• Understanding of the renewables value chain and key processes.
• Ability to influence at all levels and with external stakeholders.
• Facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills.
• Membership of IOSH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with stakeholders at Director/Executive level.
• Lead implementation and improvement of health and safety management systems.
• Drive a proactive safety culture with leadership and audits.
• Lead health and safety reporting and dashboards (Power BI).
• Manage budgets, improvement plans and H&S objectives.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health, government bodies and partners.
• Develop and coach a team of Health and Safety Consultants.
