Job summary

Reds10 in Driffield is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across production operations. You will lead audits, investigations, risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work while delivering engaging training and advising operational teams on HSEW compliance.

The role requires NEBOSH and a Level 5/6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, with proven manufacturing experience and strong knowledge of UK H&S laws.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification is required.
• Level 5 or Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety required.
• Proven experience in health & safety in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSEW legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular health and safety audits in production areas.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses with root cause analysis.
• Develop risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work for operations.
• Deliver health, safety and wellbeing training across the business.
• Monitor HSEW performance metrics and report KPIs to management.
• Provide health & safety guidance to managers and leaders.
• Identify hazards and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors and group companies.
• Liaise with regulators, reps and trade unions; stay updated on legislation.
