Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners plc is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator at our Wakefield site. The role is permanent, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours, with a salary around £36k.

You will work with operations and site leadership to drive compliance and continuous safety improvement in a high-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll manage risk assessments, audits, training, and the rollout of health and safety plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting health and safety activities within a manufacturing/operational environment.
• Experience conducting or supporting health and safety risk assessments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate / equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supporting compliance with legal, company and ISO requirements across the site.
• Coordinating and supporting risk assessments (task-based, COSHH, fire, DSEAR, contractor-related).
• Assisting with incident investigations and ensuring root causes are identified and actions implemented.
• Developing and delivering site health and safety plans and communications.
• Coordinating safety audits, inspections and monitoring activities for improvements.
• Working with stakeholders to safely introduce new products, processes and projects.
• Supporting occupational health and wellbeing programmes and health surveillance as required.
• Delivering and coordinating safety inductions and training compliance across the site.
• Producing reports and insights to support continuous improvement.
• Promoting positive safety behaviours and embedding a strong safety culture.
