Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Wakefield Operations is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to help maintain a safe, healthy, high-performing workplace. You will work with operations teams and site leadership to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

The role combines practical shop-floor engagement with audits, training and project support across the site, promoting a strong safety culture and timely reporting of trends and insights.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting health and safety activities within manufacturing, logistics or operational environments.
• Experience conducting or supporting health and safety risk assessments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the business.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyse information, identify risks and support effective problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with legal, company and ISO requirements across the site.
• Coordinate and support risk assessments (task-based, COSHH, fire, DSEAR and contractor-related).
• Assist with incident investigations, identify root causes and implement preventative actions.
• Support development and delivery of site health and safety plans and communications.
• Coordinate safety audits, inspections and monitoring activities.
• Work with stakeholders to safely introduce new products, processes and projects.
• Support occupational health and wellbeing programmes and health surveillance.
• Deliver and coordinate safety inductions and monitor training compliance.
