Job summary

Exponential-e is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to ensure consistent and high standards of health and safety across projects. The role requires on-site work with delivery teams, site inspections, safety briefings and H&S documentation throughout project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications, understand CDM regulations, and be numerate with strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Formal technical qualification and industry experience.
• Health & Safety – NEBOSH/IOSH qualification.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and site QHSE operations.
• Experience in site surveys, risk assessments and writing reports.

Responsibilities

• Site based QHSE systems and procedures.
• Prepare and review company and project specific H&S document packs.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Operational oversight ensuring QHSE procedures are followed.
• Prepare QHSE documents for each project phase including sign-off.
• Understand project scope, deliverables and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings for document sign-off.
• On-site safety briefings and toolbox talks for site/office staff.
• Promote continual improvement of Safe System of Works.
