Health and Safety Coordinator
Company overview
Alloyed is a young, venture-funded company with around 150 metallurgists, engineers, technicians, and software developers working across the UK and US. We develop advanced metal components using proprietary software that combines machine learning, physical modeling, and experimental facilities to 3D print metal components efficiently and innovatively.
Our Oxfordshire site aims to create the fastest, smartest facility for rapid development of additively manufactured parts for electronics, aerospace, and industrial sectors, as well as novel metal alloys for enhanced performance.
The Role
We seek a diligent, methodical, and motivated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. You will collaborate with the existing H&S team to ensure compliance with UK legislation and implement measures for a safe working environment, reporting to the H&S manager.
The role involves administrative tasks, on-site staff engagement, and technical assessments. You will interact with contractors, consultants, and staff across offices, labs, and workshops, requiring confident communication skills.
You will work regularly at sites in Yarnton and Abingdon; therefore, being a car owner/driver is essential.
Training will be provided, but a good knowledge of UK safety legislation and workplace safety standards is expected.
