Job summary

Bromford Flagship LiveWest is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support colleagues across the organisation, providing practical guidance that keeps people safe, confident and compliant while delivering services to communities.

You'll build trusted relationships with operational teams, lead incident reporting and audits, promote a positive safety culture, and ensure health and safety arrangements are applied consistently across housing, property, construction and frontline services.

Qualifications

• Experience applying health and safety principles in operational environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Experience with audits, inspections, risk management and incident investigation.
• Understanding of contractor management processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical H&S advice to managers and colleagues.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigation and learning.
• Support audits, inspections and assurance activities.
• Identify hazards and risks; support practical control measures.
• Provide guidance on legislation, policy and best practice.
• Contribute to contractor management processes including risk assessments and permits.
• Support development of a positive and sustainable safety culture.
• Ensure health and safety arrangements are applied consistently across the organisation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to translate H&S requirements into workable solutions.
