Job summary

Bromford Flagship LiveWest is seeking a Health and Safety Team Lead to provide leadership, direction and professional expertise across the organisation, helping colleagues, customers and contractors work and live safely.

You will lead a team of H&S professionals, support operational leaders and help embed a positive safety culture balancing compliance with practical, customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading health and safety teams.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and management systems.
• Experience delivering audits and assurance activities.
• Experience leading incident investigations including serious and RIDDOR incidents.
• Ability to influence leaders and operational teams with clear guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage delivery of operational H&S support across the business.
• Set priorities and provide day-to-day direction.
• Support implementation of health and safety strategy across teams.
• Provide expert advice, guidance and constructive challenge to leaders.
• Coordinate assurance activities, audits, inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Investigate incidents including significant and RIDDOR events.
• Identify opportunities to improve H&S performance and culture.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to influence safe behaviours.
