BEAR Scotland is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Perth Head Office. You will support the continuous improvement of our Health & Safety Management System, working with operational teams across Scotland and promoting a positive safety culture.

This role offers a varied operational environment with travel across contracts, site visits, and hybrid working (2 days at home). We support professional development and qualifications to grow your career.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• IOSH membership or working towards Chartered status.
• Lead Auditor qualification in H&S, Quality or Environmental Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 45001/9001/14001).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
• Experience in roads maintenance, construction or related environments (Desirable).
• Knowledge of Traffic Management and Chapter 8 (Desirable).
• Experience delivering training and workshops (Desirable).
• Experience engaging with clients, regulators and supply chain partners (Desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and develop Health & Safety Register.
• Support development and improvement of H&S Management System.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections for compliance.
• Provide professional H&S advice to managers, employees, clients and partners.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare H&S reports and performance data.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training.
• Coordinate HSE Committee activities and represent H&S in ventures.
• Liaise with regulators and certification bodies.
• Visit sites and depots to monitor compliance.
• Review and develop H&S documentation and updates.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to drive improvement.
• Support Management Reviews with performance data.
