Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is recruiting two Health & Safety Advisors to support a major infrastructure framework across Yorkshire. You will provide practical HS&E support on pipeline, civils, excavations and water main replacement projects.

The role is hybrid: 2–3 days on site, 1 day in the office and 1 day working from home. NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate is required; Tier 1 contractor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Experience within a Tier 1 contractor environment is strongly preferred.
• Background in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways or similar environments.
• Practical, proactive approach to health and safety with ability to influence operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HS&E support across Yorkshire and Northumbria infrastructure projects.
• Identify risks, improve performance and promote a positive health and safety culture.
• Review RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and provide guidance on temporary works and plant interfaces.
• Support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with operational teams, clients and supply-chain partners.
