Job summary

Halo Accident Repair Centre Ltd is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to oversee health and safety compliance across its sites. The role requires NEBOSH qualifications, 5+ years of experience, and strong organisational skills.

Travel across Halo's Eastern Region is expected, with a pool car provided for business use. You will be responsible for audits, risk assessments and driving continuous improvement in safety processes, working closely with site managers, insurers and auditors to

Qualifications

• NEBOSH and Fire NEBOSH certificates are required.

• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
• Experience in automotive/ bodyshop is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Halo's Eastern Region.

Job description

The role will include, but is not limited to the following tasks:

• Administration & Implementation of Halo's Health and Safety systems.
• Gathering/filing and storing information as required and within GDPR guidelines.
• Organising own diary, appointments / visits.
• Update records and spreadsheets.
• Conduct audits, monitor accidents and incidents, and implement preventative and improvement actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and behaviours while promoting a strong safety and compliance culture across the business.
• Stay up to date with regulations and industry guidance, delivering training and working closely with site managers, senior leadership, insurers and auditors.

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to oversee health and safety compliance, conduct audits and risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement across our sites. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience, NEBOSH and Fire Safety NEBOSH qualifications, and excellent organisational skills. You will be required to travel across Halo's Eastern Region, with a pool car provided for business use only., 5 years experience in a similar Health & Safety position.

Requirements

• Must hold a NEBOSH qualification and a Fire NEBOSH Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and extremely organised with a keen eye for detail.
• Confidence working with digital systems, compliance portals and online audit tools.
• Good I.T skill using a range of software packages.
• Proven ability to complete detailed risk assessments.
• Previous experience within the automotive, accident repair or Bodyshop industry would be highly advantageous.
