We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding health economic modelling team at HEOR! We are looking for talented and passionate quantitative experts who can make a real impact. As a crucial member of our team, you will have the autonomy to implement cutting-edge modelling techniques, conduct in-depth analyses, and create professional materials for dissemination. Your contributions will shape our client proposals and drive positive change in healthcare. Join us and help shape the future of health economics!

Role and Responsibilities include:
  1. Understand the model development process, including designing and building health economic models (CEM, BIM, COM, DTM, early models).
  2. Review, extract, and analyze data to inform economic models (e.g., healthcare costs, quality-adjusted life-years, productivity losses).
  3. Develop high-quality economic models, technical reports, and user guides independently, seeking guidance as needed.
  4. Proactively solve client challenges and research questions, critically evaluating value propositions within the evidence base.
  5. Implement models in Excel, VBA, and/or R based on project protocols.
  6. Adapt and conduct health economic analyses on global models for local HTA dossiers.
  7. Participate in research dissemination through publications and presentations.
  8. Collaborate with the HE team, other business units, clients, and external partners.
  9. Understand project briefs, scopes, and budgets; identify and escalate risks or ambiguities.
  10. Manage small projects, ensuring timelines and plans are followed.
  11. Embed HE principles across projects, ensuring clear communication of deliverables.
  12. Understand HEOR's role in pricing, reimbursement, and market access evidence.
  13. Support proposal development and project pitches as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications/Candidate requirements
  • Master's in health economics or related quantitative field (economics, statistics, mathematics, operational research).
  • Experience developing health economics models in Excel and VBA.
  • Experience adapting and localizing health economics models.
  • Skills in economic and statistical analysis.
  • Understanding of HEOR/HTA and the commercial landscape.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant experience in consultancy, healthcare, biotech, or pharma industries.
  • Project management experience.
