LCP Health seeks a Health Data Engineer (Associate Consultant) to help scale analytics delivery. You will build analytical databases from client data, design data models, and support data infrastructure in a fast-moving health team.

The role covers data modelling, ELT pipelines, and production-grade data systems, with hybrid work options in London or Winchester. Collaboration across clinical, statistical, and tech specialists is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Within the UK healthcare and/or life sciences industry, demonstrable 3+ years experience in a data engineering or similar role with focus on analytical data models.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server/SQL databases.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git).
• Excellent programming skills in SQL and Python with R desirable.
• Hands-on experience building ELT data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-based tooling or applications.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement robust data models to support analytical, reporting and operational requirements across complex health data.
• Develop and maintain analytical databases that integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain reliable, production-grade technical infrastructure to support analytical and operational processes.
• Automate and improve workflows across data processing, data management, analysis and reporting.
• Implement testing, validation and monitoring processes to improve the robustness, accuracy and maintainability of pipelines and applications.
• Contribute to good engineering practice through documentation, code review, version control and continuous improvement of technical standards.
