Job summary

The role focuses on preparing data for research use, enabling high-quality analyses and collaborative studies.

The candidate will work in a collaborative, NHS environment with 50% office attendance in a hybrid setup, and should have experience with R, Python, and T-SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience developing processes for collecting and reporting on raw data.
• Experience in NHS and/or public sector information management or in an academic/research context.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining databases in a major RDBMS.
• Knowledge of ETL methods, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Understanding of information governance and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support development and analysis of the Connected West Yorkshire dataset in Bradford.
• Prepare data for research use and assist colleagues with high-quality research.
• Conduct quantitative analyses and contribute to writing research papers.
• Plan and support new research studies with the Data and Research Team.
• Assist in data quality assurance and transformation tasks.
