Job summary

Ernst & Young (EY) is expanding its Health Practice in the UK/Ireland and seeking a Data and Analytics Manager to oversee end-to-end health data lifecycles, ensuring accuracy, compliance and meaningful use in service transformation.

You will lead NHS-focused data initiatives, manage large healthcare datasets, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to deliver data-informed improvements and reporting capabilities across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data-focused transformation projects in healthcare, especially NHS.
• Strong understanding of UK NHS healthcare systems, policies and operational challenges.
• Hands-on experience with data management, data integration and data quality tools.
• Experience handling large-scale healthcare datasets (e.g., SUS, SLAM, HES, ESR).
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects in the healthcare sector applying AI, automation and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with clients to understand healthcare needs and develop analytics solutions.
• Design, build and deploy analytics and reporting solutions including AI integrations.
• Analyse healthcare systems and data to identify data-driven improvements.
• Work with NHS stakeholders to co-design solutions and promote data literacy.
• Mentor junior consultants and foster AI and health data literacy.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and emerging data technologies to inform strategy.
• Support bids and proposals with data, analytics and healthcare expertise.
