This post involves working with Cardiology/Medical on Ward 2. Providing support to the Registered nurse throughout the patients admission and maintaining a safely stocked environment amongst many other roles.
Working within Cardiology provides an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of the Team. We work closely with Ward 1- CCU and you may be expected to cover other wards. We are committed to excellent care delivery and encourage wellbeing along with development in our department.
Record keeping of all patients, recording patient care via WNCR and completing various patient documents . Stock checking and progressively stock ordering, accompanying patients to and from Departments.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCSW to join a team of experienced nurses working on one of our busy ward. The post involves caring for Acute admissions from many sources and supporting the day to day running of the area.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, under the supervision of qualified nurses, caring for patients who are Acute Cardiology and are awaiting transfer to our Tertiary centre.
Experience within the specialty of Medicine is desirable , HCSW experience is also desirable but not essential. The post is rotational between day and night shifts.
