The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700.
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker within the North East Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service is dedicated to delivering high-quality, integrated care. You will work as part of a large team managing clients with complex drug and alcohol issues, along with associated physical and mental health problems. Under supervision of trained nurses, you will support engagement and retention of vulnerable service users, and assist staff within the team. Collaboration with Children and Families and Criminal Justice Services will be essential. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, committed, and possess excellent communication skills.
Your responsibilities will include assertively outreaching to hard-to-reach and vulnerable service users, employing flexible, person-centered approaches to facilitate their engagement in care and treatment. The model aims to reduce health inequalities and target those most at risk.
