Job description

Step Forward Centre is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our ward as Health Care Support Workers (HCSW).

We aim to become the leading provider of integrated care for people of all ages with mental or physical health needs.

Step Forward Centre is a mixed ward with 12 beds, committed to delivering rehabilitation services to reduce health inequalities and enhance health and social care outcomes for individuals in our communities with Severe Mental Illness (SMI).

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide generic care and planned interventions to patients/clients at Step Forward Centre.
  2. Assist with maintaining patients' personal hygiene, physical health, and psychological comfort, ensuring privacy and dignity.
  3. Support registered healthcare professionals in delivering clinical care to a defined group of patients.
  4. Ensure patient safety and a positive experience by treating all with respect, dignity, and courtesy, aligned with Trust values.
  5. Take leadership from the Assistant Practitioner within a delegation framework for assigned tasks.
