Job summary

We have opportunities on Golborne Unit for Health Care Support Workers passionate about caring for adults in later life and working-age adults.

We aim to provide high-quality services within our Inpatient Wards, aligning with the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust values. We seek dependable, caring, and compassionate candidates committed to excellent healthcare. Knowledge of mental health is essential. You will assist and support patients under qualified staff guidance to promote wellbeing, physical health, and support through discharge. You will be supported by the team and encouraged to develop your skills.

Main duties include:

  1. Having an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health and social care, or relevant experience.
  2. Supporting ward team members with direct nursing care, clerical, cleaning, and ancillary duties.
